 Welcome to Ruislip Gardens!

"Ruislip Gardens is a good school" according to Ofsted, who inspected our school in December 2011. This report highlights the standards children reached in 2011 as being "significantly above average" arising from rapid improvements in learning and progress over the last few years.  We are very proud of the results that children achieve at our school and are looking forward to another strong set of results this summer. But academic success is not the only reason that children join our school. We also have a very strong sporting tradition. Last year our children won football and athletics competitions held locally and competed in a London-wide athletics tournament. We have many sporting clubs incuding cricket, rounders, netball, athletics, gymnastics, rugby and football. Queens Park Rangers work with us to train our football team and provide coaching during school holidays.

In addition to our sports clubs there are many other activities for children to get involved in, such as drama, music, ICT, dance, knitting and cookery. We provide a breakfast club before school from 8.00am and after school childcare until 5.00pm.

Our children are often recognised for their politeness, courtesy and behaviour, which is a real strength of the school alongside the academic achievements. Children at Ruislip Gardens are happy children who enjoy learning and achieving and relish a challenge.

Our dedicated staff are friendly and caring, building strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure that our children are happy, safe, and secure with all their learning needs met. In a recent survey 100% of Parents who took part said that their children were safe and that they enjoyed school. Our facilities are well proportioned and generous and afford children of all ages plenty of space and activities for recreation

The school has a strong leadership team committed to making further improvements and developing areas of outstanding practice to ensure the very best outcomes for all our children.
